The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) is the region’s leading body for public relations and communication professionals and students.

Founded in 2001 in the United Arab Emirates, MEPRA is a self-governing nonprofit member association, established to set world-class standards for the public relations and communication industry in the Middle East.

MEPRA is an organisation for members who are looking to grow their network, enhance their knowledge and professional skills and be recognised for their accomplishments.

Message from our Chair, Ray Eglington

On behalf of the Board and members of the Middle East Public Relations Association, welcome to MEPRA. At its heart, MEPRA is about excellence; we’re about developing skills, identifying and celebrating amazing campaigns, understanding the latest trends in the industry, and being a voice for the communications industry across the whole of the Middle East.

In 2018, our key themes are engagement, professionalization and value. Engagement is about bringing our people together; our Academy is where we’ve built a series of learning opportunities for people at all levels, in partnership with the CIPR, to improve skills across the whole industry. We are professionalizing everything that we do for our members, bringing them the best and highest quality standards from our team here at MEPRA. Finally, with regards showing value, we’ve set a whole new set of programs for this year including the Majlis event in Abu Dhabi, the MEPRA Awards and the first ever PR Congress in Dubai.”
