The Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA) is the region’s leading body for public relations and communication professionals and students.
Founded in 2001 in the United Arab Emirates, MEPRA is a self-governing nonprofit member association, established to set world-class standards for the public relations and communication industry in the Middle East.
MEPRA is an organization for members who are looking to grow their network, enhance their knowledge and professional skills and be recognized for their accomplishments.
Message from our Chair
On behalf of the Board and members of the Middle East Public Relations Association, welcome to MEPRA. Our organization is run for, and by, professionals from across the public relations industry throughout the region – including agency and corporate members, academic institutions, government entities and not-for-profits. Our vision is simple: to be the unique voice representing the profession throughout the Middle East, and to encourage and help our members grow and develop their talent. We do this through frequent events that bring together the best and the brightest from across our membership, as well as outside speakers. We also recognize and award those entities which are doing world-class work.
Our industry is becoming more global and connected, and what we do is simply moving faster than anyone could have imagined a decade ago. In many ways, the Middle East is on the cutting edge of how modern entities are communicating, with social media usage exploding and our members experimenting with ways to improve their storytelling capabilities. Being part of MEPRA gives everyone a chance to grow together and help evolve a profession that is always changing.
