Board Election Details

As we enter the next phase for MEPRA, a new board structure will take form to extend the opportunity for a wider selection of members to be involved. Nominations are open for two board levels:

MEPRA Strategy Board

The MEPRA Strategy Board will help identify and shape the strategy for MEPRA moving forward, particularly around our major initiatives including the Leadership Majilis, Academy and Awards ceremony. A Strategy Board Member will be committing to four meetings per year plus time allocated for sub committee planning and projects.

MEPRA Executive Board

The MEPRA Executive board will work closely with MEPRA staff to implement initiatives throughout the year. This board is the decision-making body of the Association, comprised of a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary plus a small group of Executive Directors. An Executive Board Member will be committing to twelve meetings per year plus time allocated for sub committee planning and projects.

Nominated candidates will be working towards an industry collective goal to:

Raise awareness and build understanding of public relations in the Middle East, both as a profession and as a driver of organisational reputation. We do so by promoting industry standards, sharing knowledge and thought leadership and building the capabilities of professionals in region.
