Wadad Tabbara

Communications Consultant

Wadad is a seasoned communications consultant with a 25-year track record in providing C-suite strategic counsel, advisory and training to clients across different industries in the MENA region. 

As an independent consultant, Wadad has brought her expertise and insight in Strategic Communications to several notable projects including a landmark global initiative undertaken for the South Center in Lebanon in coordination with the Ministry of Environment. She also helped launch the “UAE Medical Day” initiative involving all healthcare authorities in the UAE.

Previously, Wadad was Chief Strategy Officer at Around-The-Clock Communications, a Dubai-based marketing communications agency, where she helped launch a dedicated PR division to further expand the agency’s portfolio of integrated communication services.

Prior to that, Wadad played a dual role at TRACCS, one of the largest independent communications consultancies in the region: As Vice-President of TRACCS Ventures and a member of the agency’s senior leadership team, Wadad played an instrumental role in streamlining and executing internal and external network initiatives, in addition to developing and leading strategy and operations for a number of accounts. 

Backed by her extensive knowledge and experience of the communications industry, Wadad taps into her solid understanding of traditional and digital PR channels to help the teams she leads serve a wide range of clients across sectors such as corporate, consumer, real estate, hospitality and luxury – delivering measurable outcomes and impact consistently. She has extensive experience in providing media training to executives.

Wadad is passionate about knowledge sharing and is committed to nurturing young talent through peer mentoring. She was involved as a mentor with Global Mentorship Initiative and Wings of Change. A lifelong learner, Wadad finds herself spending more of her time these days figuring out how to effectively integrate AI tools into communication strategies.

She holds an MBA from the Lebanese American University in Beirut.
