Amina Taher is Chief Marketing Officer of Wio Bank PJSC, the Middle East’s first digital financial  platform, where she leads the strategic vision for the bank’s market presence and growth, architecting  innovative customer experiences that redefine digital banking. 

Under her leadership, Wio is redefining digital banking through innovative marketing strategies and  award-winning campaigns that strengthen connections with customers, partners, and stakeholders. In  delivering the bank’s customer value proposition, she positions the platform at the forefront of financial  innovation, driving business growth and solidifying Wio’s presence in the fintech landscape. With over 20 years of experience in brand building and business transformation, Amina served as Vice  President of Brand Marketing and Sponsorships at Etihad Airways, establishing global partnerships  with City Football Group, Formula 1, and Chennai Super Kings across 45 markets. At Mubadala  Investment Company, she spearheaded community development and youth empowerment programs  as Head of Social Development and Sponsorship, including the tennis-in-schools initiative that inspired  future leaders across Abu Dhabi.  

A multi-award winning leader, Amina was named among Forbes Middle East’s “Top 50 Power  Businesswomen” in 2020 and has been recognized among the “Top 50 Impactful Marketing and  Communications Professionals in the Middle East.” She serves as Board Member at Bloom Holdings  and Chair of The Marketing Society UAE, driving innovation across the region’s creative industries and  contributing thought leadership to international media.  

Amina holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University, an MBA from London Business
