Tala Majzoub
MEPRA Youth Board Member and Communications Manager at Havas Red
Tala builds her career the way she reads literature: by paying attention to power, culture, and the subtext that holds a story together. She’s a Communications Manager at HAVAS Red, working across entertainment and tech brands including TikTok, Disney+, Virgin Mobile UAE, and Spotify MENA, and gravitating toward spaces that shape everyday behaviour and identity in the region.
The move into PR came after an early start in social media, beginning with healthcare communications for the Department of Health Abu Dhabi and Pfizer. That foundation opened the door to the faster and more culturally reactive work she does today, which is always guided by the belief that nothing is neutral, and everything sits within a larger context.
Tala studied English Literature at the American University of Beirut on a merit scholarship and earned her master’s in Comparative Literature from Dartmouth College on a fellowship. This academic path still informs how she thinks, questions, and writes.
Her work has been recognised by Communicate’s 30 Under 30, Campaign ME’s PR Faces to Watch, and MEPRA’s Young Communicator of the Year. Joining the MEPRA Youth Board, she hopes to bring a perspective that’s thoughtful, curious, and rooted in culture, while continuing to grow and push for small but meaningful shifts within the industry.
