Hattan M. Alghalayini is a marketing and communications executive with over 20 years of experience advising senior government leaders, C-suite executives, and global institutions across sectors. He has led strategic communications for national transformation programs, high-stakes international engagements, and reputation management initiatives at the intersection of public policy, brand strategy, and digital innovation.

As Chief Communications Officer at the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MiSK), Hattan oversees the full spectrum of marketing and communications—brand, content, digital, internal engagement, and external relations—across the Foundation and its subsidiaries. He has played a pivotal role in MiSK’s transformation, leading digital engagement efforts, national campaigns, and high-profile global forums. His leadership has helped elevate MiSK’s brand visibility while strengthening its voice in the public sphere.

Previously, Hattan served as General Manager of Strategic Communication at the Ministry of Economy and Planning, where he helped modernize the Ministry’s communications model, advised ministers on global media strategy, and played a central role in Saudi Arabia’s participation in Expo 2020 and Davos. He also contributed to the development of joint economic visions with Japan and South Korea, and led communications for key
national initiatives such as the Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council and the National Development Fund.

Earlier in his career, Hattan led regional communications for Henkel across IMEA and advised multinational clients—including ExxonMobil, MASDAR, and ADNEC—during his time at APCO Worldwide. His approach is rooted in clarity, cross-functional alignment, and purposeful storytelling. He is passionate about shaping narratives that not only inform but inspire, and about building communication functions that deliver impact at scale.
