Tala Abu Taha is the Executive Director of the PR and Influence Vertical at Viola Communication, where she oversees strategic planning for future business growth, manages P&L and revenue targets, and ensures the development of innovative, digital AI, and forward-looking strategies. Her focus is on shaping the long-term vision, sustainability, and operational excellence of the vertical, driving client success and expansion across a team of 20+ professionals. She is also a member of the Executive Board at The Middle East Public Relations Association – MEPRA, advocating for industry standards, professional development, and ethical practices in the Middle East.

Previously, Tala served as Director of Public Relations at Viola Communications, leading the unit and providing strategic counsel to diverse clients across public affairs, corporate, consumer, and media sectors, both regionally and internationally. She also led the regional operations at ASDA’A BCW Global in the UAE, managing 13 offices and spearheading growth and positioning efforts.

Her experience includes leading the Public Affairs Practice for Ketchum-Raad Kuwait & Dubai. Additionally, she worked as Communications Director at BLJ in Qatar/Doha, serving the Qatar Foundation, and nearly a decade as Founder and Managing Director of VARCC Communications. She also co-founded TRACCS in Jordan in 2003.

Tala is an acclaimed communication Expert, writer, and journalist, having worked as Editor-in-Chief at Nox Magazine and contributed to major Jordanian newspapers. Her expertise extends to social development, Public Affairs, and capacity-building projects across the Middle East, where she collaborates with Aktis Strategy (UK), USAID, MSI, Cofey, and JICA on various initiatives.

 

Her skills in strategic communication, public affairs, business development, and creative solutions have been recognized by organizations such as the John Smith Trust Fund, Leaders for Democracy Fellowship, Syracuse University, and regional entities.

 She is an active member of MEPRA, the Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women, and the Jordanian Press Association
