Megan Yarmuth
Head of PR, Qatar at Memac Ogilvy
Megan Yarmuth is an award-winning communications professional with over 18 years of experience. This includes several years at Ogilvy Washington, where she was focused on creating impact through meaningful communications, primarily leading large-scale government accounts.
In her role as Head of PR, Ogilvy Doha, Megan leads the Public Relations team on accounts including Qatar Foundation and Qatar Tourism.
Before coming to Memac Ogilvy, Megan worked as a vice president at Weber Shandwick in Washington, DC. In her role, Megan led the CDC’s Division of Tuberculosis Elimination’s national public education campaign and the CDC’s Division of Viral Hepatitis “Know Hepatitis B” campaign.
Prior to Weber Shandwick, Megan co-founded and managed video production and digital media company, Rockhouse. In her role, she managed business development, client campaigns and strategy for both government and commercial clients, including Toyota, Hilton, Maryland Health Care Commission and SKDKnickerbocker.
Megan also spent significant time at Ogilvy (2009 – 2015) where she served as the day-to- day account lead across multiple accounts. Her work primarily focused on behavior change communications for clients including the CDC, National Institute of Health, Internal Revenue Service, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck Vaccines and more.
Megan earned her MBA with a marketing concentration at George Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
