Shadi has 14 years’ experience working in Brand Communications & Marketing in the UAE.

She is the founder of MAIA, a boutique Brand Communications agency specialised in luxury hotels, travel and design. MAIA works with the likes of The Arts Club Dubai, Six Senses Zighy Bay, Claridge’s and Soneva.

Prior to setting up MAIA, she was the Cluster Director of PR & Communications of Jumeirah Group, leading the team that looked after all Dubai hotels (that included Burj Al Arab).She has also worked at Edelman, DABO & CO and H+K Strategies.

She has been in Dubai since August 2009, having been selected to join a Graduate Trainee scheme with Four Communications, from London.
