With a degree in Oriental Languages and Literatures at Ca’ Foscari University and a as certified Journalist, Elena began her professional activities in communications and marketing management at Il Sole 24 ORE group in Milan, where she worked for ten years

After moving to Dubai with her family in 2010 she became Account Director for the Luxury and Consumer sector at MS&L (Leo Burnett Group) .

In 2013  she set up the company Twister Communications, which successfully led in 2021 to the acquisition on behalf of the global PR firm SEC Newgate. Since 2021 Elena is shareholder and CEO of  SEC Newgate Middle East with an expansion mandate in the Region.The offices in Riyadh opened in January 2024.
