Cindy Mearini is the Head of PR at Q Communications, having joined the agency in 2016.

She has worked in the field of Public Relations for 15 years since graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in South Africa.

Cindy’s PR experience stretches across a broad range of industries, including B2B, Financial Services, Education, Sports Events, Consumer, and Hospitality. She has worked on award-winning campaigns such as the DHL x Mo Salah collaboration, has led the communications for world-renowned events such as the Cape Town Cycle Tour, and has launched numerous brands into the market.

She currently oversees a team of 20 across Q Communications’ Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices, and heads up some of the agency’s biggest clients, including Aldar, Exeed, Hala, and more.

In her role, she directs the team to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and service level agreements are met. She is instrumental in developing and driving strategies and plans, providing corporate counsel, crisis communications, and ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Team management, business development, and setting and reaching department targets are core focuses.
