Kath leads the EMEA region for GCI Health, based in Dubai and has more than 23 years of experience focused on healthcare communications at the global, EMEA and UK levels and across the Middle East. She is a seasoned senior professional who has a passion for providing high-level strategic thinking and counsel to clients, hoping to solve their business challenges.

Kath is an irreplaceable source of knowledge to clients and her teams, translating strategic insights into exciting ideas and delivering strong results for clients. Throughout her career, she has mastered the art of telling compelling stories while safeguarding clients corporate and brand’s reputation, particularly in the fast-evolving and regulated world of social media. 

Kath’s expertise lies in crafting impactful strategies that bring client narratives to life online.  Kath has a deep understanding of how to navigate the complexities of today’s media landscape, ensuring her clients’ stories resonate with the right audiences.

Kath has supported many clients across disease areas including oncology, infectious diseases, cardiovascular disease and vaccines.  Her clients have included Reaching the Last Mile, GLIDE, MSD, AstraZeneca, GSK, Bayer, Organon and Vertex among others.  

Kath is well practiced at developing programs for activation on social media and engaging influencers to communicate to patients and HCPs. She has led several award-winning campaigns, including #MakeHIVHistory, a campaign that drew on social media and global channels to promote World AIDS Day, with the purpose of raising funds to train HIV healthcare workers in the developing world.
