Sherif Ghanem is the Regional Media Relations Director at Ruder Finn Atteline, bringing over 33 years of experience in the public relations and media sector. Based in Riyadh, Sherif plays a key leadership role in driving impactful communication strategies across the Gulf region, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia. He leads cross-functional teams and manages regional media programs for high-profile clients across industries.

Sherif has a strong track record working with global brands including Kaspersky, OSN, LEGO, Van Cleef & Arpels, and other international accounts—delivering integrated campaigns that balance global ambition with local relevance. His core expertise spans media relations, storytelling, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communication.
With deep-rooted knowledge of the Saudi media landscape and strong relationships across GCC markets, Sherif brings cultural fluency and strategic insights to every project. His ability to navigate complex environments makes him a trusted advisor to both regional clients and global partners.

Before joining Ruder Finn Atteline, Sherif served as KSA Director at Golin, where he led major client programs and built one of the most media-savvy teams in the market. Earlier in his career, he was Country Manager for Al Ahram Newspaper in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, and previously Country Manager for Carma’s Cairo office.
Sherif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cairo University and began his professional journey in 1990 with Al Hayat Newspaper as Marketing Manager in its Cairo office.
