Taghrid Oraibi

Head of Communications, Middle East at Deliveroo

Taghrid is a communications professional with 18 years of in-house and agency experience. 

She is currently the Head of Communications at Deliveroo, responsible for managing corporate and consumer communications in the Middle East. Her overarching role is to support the company’s mission to transform the way people shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to their doors by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.

Prior to joining Deliveroo, Taghrid was the Head of Communications for Stellantis, overseeing the  external and internal communications for the group and its automotive brands –  Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Abarth, Peugeot, Opel, Citroen and Mopar – across the GCC, Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan. 

She also held a position as an adjunct lecturer at Middlesex University – Dubai during this time.

Prior to this, she worked for eight years at BPG Group (WPP Agency) as Business Director, working closely with regional and global affiliates to deliver inclusive communication campaigns. At BPG, she initiated and managed four annual industry research reports about Influencer Marketing to provide expert-level insight into the effects of social media personalities on industry and consumers.

Taghrid began her career as a PR Media Relations Executive at ASDA’A BCW, before completing four years as an Account Manager at Ketchum Raad Middle East. In her career, she has worked with organizations such as Airbus, PepsiCo, Mars, Philip Morris, L’Oreal, Hotels.com, Careem, Emaar, and Al Shaya, to name a few.    

Throughout her career, she delivered award-winning campaigns that have received accolades from organizations such as MEPRA and PRCA across the region.

Taghrid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from the American University of Sharjah. She’s an Egyptian national and was born and raised in the UAE.
