On Renewables – podcasting sustainable dialogues

The ‘On Renewables’ podcast objective is to host conversations with the world’s most prominent experts on renewable energy, sustainability and climate change. APCO manages all podcast aspects: guest outreach, content development, promotion and production.

Dr. Nawal has hosted Christina Figueres, former Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, whose Paris Agreement work saw 195 nations sign the historic accord; Francesco La Camera, Director-General of IRENA; and Damilola Ogunbiyi, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for SDG7 and CEO of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL).

In just over 11 months, the podcast has grown from 327 inaugural YouTube episode views with the UAE’s then Minister of Climate Change and Environment, His Excellency Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, to 194,000 views of the episode with IRENA Director General, La Camera. The podcast has now been recognized by Reuters as being a leading voice in the field.
