In this course you will learn the essentials of framing, lighting and audio on smartphones. You will learn simple, easy-to-follow tips for making sure your videos look and sound professional. You will also understand how to plan, shoot, edit and share videos that engage audiences and create impact. Be it PR, internal comms, testimonials or social media content, you’ll be able to create it all, using the device you already have…your smartphone.

Intermediate – for PR professionals with basic video production and editing skills.

Facilitator

Mark Egan is a mobile video specialist and former BBC journalist. Mark has delivered training to major organisations around the world, including the BBC, World Health Organization and Finnish Prime Minister’s Office. He has also created content with smartphones for brands and broadcasters. Mark was nominated for a BAFTA for his documentary work with the BBC and was formerly a trainer with the BBC College of Journalism.

Accreditation

MEPRA has partnered with UK’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) to establish a continuous professional development (CPD) program.
