COVID-19 brought unprecedented challenges to all companies. EGA’s Corporate Affairs team played a key role in meeting these challenges at EGA, delivering the largest internal communications campaign in the company’s 42-year history, which continues today.

EGA’s internal communications campaign focused on engaging everyone in this collective effort to beat COVID-19, while providing the transparency on the pandemic’s progression at EGA required for reassurance and motivation at work. This simple focus required a massive campaign on many fronts.

EGA’s COVID-19 rates have been consistently below those reported for the UAE as a whole since early in the pandemic, despite much higher frequency of testing than in the wider population.
