Ziad joined Gambit Communications in February 2020, moving to Dubai from his hometown of Beirut where he was affectionately known as ‘Shab el PR’ or ‘The PR Guy’ among media and clients. Only days after his new start in Dubai, the world was plunged into the Coronavirus Pandemic, and it would be a full year before he saw his family again, during which the Beirut explosion and a rapidly deteriorating economy back home created a challenging environment for a young man working in the pressure-cooker PR agency scene.

Ziad knuckled down and showed his resilience by quickly becoming a leader within Gambit, mentoring younger team members, driving client success and helping the agency to multiple new business wins and industry award wins. He now leads on a portfolio of clients worth over half a million USD per annum, and is pegged as a future industry leader.
