I’ve been told I’m a natural storyteller, but struggle to tell my own. So, what are the elements of a good story?<br /><br />You need a unique perspective: I was the first person in my family to attend university. You need captivating characters: My mum worked hard as a single parent before meeting my amazing and wacky stepdad, who is a spiritual-guru-stroke-artist. You need drama: I graduated in the middle of a global pandemic and boarded the last flight out of Birmingham to move to Dubai. You need action: I secured an internship in PR and was suddenly an introvert in an industry where extroversion is rewarded. You need pace: In just four years, I’ve risen to Senior Account Manager, won the PRCA MENA Young Lions 2024 gold medal and represented the region at the Cannes Lions finale, finishing in the top five globally. And that’s only the foreword!
