The ”MG Cyberster – Journey into the Future” campaign celebrated MG’s 100th anniversary by showcasing its new all-electric sports car, the Cyberster, through a historic journey from London to Shanghai, covering over 9,000 miles. The Middle East leg aimed to raise brand awareness, position MG as a premium brand, and highlight the region’s evolving EV infrastructure. The campaign successfully activated six GCC markets, engaging influencers and coordinating media events across the region. It gained substantial media coverage, exceeded digital engagement targets, and effectively repositioned MG as a premium and innovative brand. In addition to extensive media coverage, the campaign leveraged social media platforms, resulting in a significant increase in brand visibility. Collaborations with local influencers in each market provided authentic and localised content, further enhancing MG’s reputation in the region. The campaign’s success demonstrated MG’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, aligning the brand with the future of electric mobility.
