Cisco’s $28bn acquisition of Splunk was not only the company’s largest acquisition ever. It signaled a massive bet on the potential Cisco saw in growing its security business. It was a pivotal moment for Cisco to redefine itself in the category, especially as organizations in the GCC were investing heavily in securing their most critical assets. <br />Our campaign aimed to capture a leading Share of Voice of the region’s cybersecurity conversation while increasing the resonance of Cisco’s messaging in top UAE and KSA media. We’d do so by reinforcing our relevance in the region, evolving the cybersecurity conversation in an AI era, and emphasizing the preparedness of people – not just products – in building cyber resilience. <br />Our campaign resulted in key cybersecurity authorities acknowledging Cisco’s crucial role in the space. We achieved our #1 SoV in the security domain and a 55% message resonance around cybersecurity – a 12% increase year-on-year.
