As COVID-19 descended, APCO supported campaigns that truly mattered: the world’s first phase III clinical trial of an inactivated COVID-19 vaccine; the UAE’s “100 Million Meals” project; and the Emirates Mars Mission – underlining our thrust to amplify stories of hope and resilience.
We launched “.Pomelo,” a full-service creative practice in the MENA region to deliver strategies based on bold thinking and deep insights. We demonstrated an important shift in media communications, conducting a virtual press event that was attended by more than 700 journalists from around the world for the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
This is a long way for an agency that began with fewer than 40 consultants in 2006 and is now more than 200 people strong – including 31 nationalities working across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Manama, Amman and Kuwait.
