BLJ Worldwide with Lusail International Circuit: Reintroducing Qatar as the Middle East’s Home of Motorsports

BLJ Worldwide

Lusail International Circuit has hosted motorsports events for nearly 20
years and is the only venue in the region that hosts both MotoGP™ and FORMULA 1
tournaments. 2021 marked the first time that the F1 Championship had been
held in Qatar, with the country signing a 10-year agreement to host the
event from 2023.

Ahead of the FORMULA 1 QATAR AIRWAYS QATAR GRAND PRIX 2023™, LIC underwent
an extensive renovation aimed at providing an industry-leading
experience for drivers and fans and to establish the Circuit as one of the world’s
foremost motorsports and entertainment venues. The BLJ team was tasked with
creating a twelve-month communications campaign that not only drove awareness of
and footfall to key calendar events such as F1®, FIA World Endurance Championship
and MotoGP™, but that shed a global spotlight on LIC as a venue, and by extension
Qatar, as the consummate host for global sports events
