By 2024, Media City Qatar faced a clear challenge: its crucial role in creating and sponsoring the Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg since its inception (four editions to date) was not widely known. Additionally, the media’s overall influence in addressing economic challenges and facilitating key dialogues was undervalued. Media City Qatar addressed this by taking center stage at the 2024 forum, showcasing the media’s power in driving economic discussions and highlighting its own leadership. <br /><br />The campaign used a proactive press office, targeted social media, and strategic global advertising to reposition Media City Qatar—achieving 336% year-on-year increase in media mentions and $3.8 million in AVE, significantly raising its profile, signing new MoUs, and demonstrating the media’s vital role in global economic conversations, garnering praise from industry leaders, media, and government officials.
