Entrepreneurship Adventures
Hill+Knowlton Strategies with KAUST
As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the Kingdom has an objective to nurture and support the innovation & entrepreneurship culture. To support this objective venture capital funding reached a record high of USD $152 million in 2020 and with nearly 77% of Saudis interested in starting a business, Saudi ranked second highest out of 49 countries in a recent study by Global Entrepreneurship Monitor.
With strong demand and funding for entrepreneurship King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST) identified a gap in education in entrepreneurship, and developed a masterclass titled “Entrepreneurship Adventures”. Supporting two other objectives of Vision 2030 (to improve equity of access to education and uphold the Arabic language), the course content was developed in Arabic and hosted online.
