Leveraging the Power of the Arabic Language

Since 2021, Weber Shandwick has proudly partnered with MAKTABA, the library management department at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. In January 2024, we launched “Leveraging the Power of the Arabic Language”, an Arabic-led strategic campaign to amplify MAKTABA’s visibility and impact. With a modest budget of $11,000, our campaign aimed to promote over 300 community events, increase library footfall, and boost community participation in Arabic-language workshops. Within just two months, our campaign achieved remarkable results, including a 55% increase in SoV and a 23% rise in library visits, demonstrating the campaign’s effectiveness in enhancing cultural and educational engagement.
