The communication campaign proposal for MEPRA by Murdoch Dubai students Sai Kemkar and Nathan Mendes highlights social media engagement. It plans to gain followers’ attention through interactive social media posts, and build a community online, to elevate MEPRA’s brand.
While MEPRA is a big organization and does plan for many initiatives to benefit members, many people outside of the organization do not know anything about it, despite possibly being interested in their activities. In such cases, this campaign plans to create content that is inclusive rather than alienating to non-members.
To further MEPRA’s followers’ interest in the organization, this proposal suggests encouraging a community-like environment, where great PR campaigns by MEPRA members as well as from other Middle Eastern PR practitioners are celebrated and analysed.
This proposal uses strategic communication on social media platforms to strengthen MEPRA’s relation with their audiences.
