SUMMARY

Reporting to the Account Director, the Senior PR Account Executive is a key part of our account management team, serving our clients through media relations, gaining press coverage, reporting, and supporting senior accounts team members. This position is client facing, which means you’ll have the opportunity to demonstrate your professionalism and flair for client relations early on in your career with us.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• 3+ years GCC PR agency experience
• Media specific qualification or education
• Excellent grammar, writing and speaking skills in English
• Resilience, emotional self-regulation, and ability to problem solve quickly
• Proactive in both time and task management
• Strong understanding of digital and social platforms used in corporate communications and reputation building campaigns across MENA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client, Media & Agency Relations
• Grow and enhance our media and influencer network through outreach, under the guidance of the account lead
• Cultivate our relationships through understanding, living and breathing each brand, client, media outlet
• Stay well-informed about the latest trends, emerging and established influencers, and how to pitch effectively pitch them to clients and vice versa
• Take ownership of building and nurturing strong client relationships
• Enthusiastically deliver regular updates to clients, pre-empting their needs and requests
• Develop strong connections with PR governing bodies such as MEPRA & PRCA, as well as fellow PR agencies and in-house PR professionals, while keeping a pulse on the dynamic UAE and GCC PR landscape
• Actively participate and network at events and never miss an opportunity to talk about Brazen MENA and sell our services
• Exhibit excellent EQ and self-awareness, building trust and confidence in how you are perceived by the team and clients as someone who thrives and enjoys their work and the industry
• Work closely and support Junior Account Executives to enhance their performance and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Lead and oversee press office, ensuring high-quality execution and delivering strong results for clients

The PR Craft (the Brazen MENA way)
• Hone and demonstrate your flawless writing skills to deliver press releases, reports
• Adapt writing styles to suit media publications and outlets, and the needs of the client
• Absorb yourself in the world of PR and Social Media and understand what PR and Social Media are – the difference, what they do and what they can deliver
• Regularly read PR Week, Campaign, Communicate, Brandberries etc.
• Lead Junior Account Executives and participate too with sending regular coverage reports, log all client activity for evaluation and independently create WIPs
• Be well-versed with PR plans so you know what activity is happening, and when
• Support account lead and any team members by taking meeting minutes, preparing reports, new business decks, and any research or other admin tasks assigned
• Assist the team with administrative tasks to help the business run efficiently i.e. reporting/ adding to the media database on Vuelio/ updating industry calendars
• Always represent Brazen MENA as an agency in a positive, professional and engaging way
• Assist the team in brainstorming creative PR ideas, ensuring alignment with clients’ goals and objectives
• In addition to staying on top of client emails and day-to-day tasks, take responsibility for proactively anticipating client needs, identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing and an excellent culture within Brazen MENA team
