The Opportunity

Be the voice of flydubai in the digital space and be passionate about social media, the digital landscape and content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Becomes the voice of flydubai in the social media space with aim of increasing followership and engagement levels across all platforms
  • Owns the social media content calendar; creating fun, engaging and compelling social media content that raises awareness and supports commercial objectives.
  • Develops digital reports using a combination of reporting tools and metrics to evaluate conversations and mentions in the digital space.
  • Cultivates, manages and maintains relationships with social media influencers and important voices in flydubai’s online conversation.
  • Works closely with the Press Office to ensure alignment on corporate messaging, announcements and issues management.
  • Manages crisis situations either originating in social media or spilling into social media, identifies threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the brand.
  • Works closely with the customer engagement team to further develop monitoring and listening efforts, to create positive two-way dialogue with customers.
  • Remains up to date on social media best practice, successful campaigns, emerging platforms and new functionality to help reach and engage with consumers.
  • Understands how social media strategies are put into effect as part of a larger integrated marketing and communications strategy.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or Equivalent)
  • Professional qualification in digital communications or digital marketing

Experience Specific Requirements

  • Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) – 5

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

  • Fluent in English with Arabic as additional language preferred

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
