Jay Krishnan
Jay Krishnan has been a part of HLB HAMT for almost two decades. A person who initially joined HAMT as an auditor, soon got promoted to senior auditor and then to partner. It is his hard work and determination that has helped him scale heights in a short span.
Jay Krishnan has shown his excellence in the field of auditing, by working for various industry segments. He was involved in developing and net working at Northern Emirates of UAE, giving special focus on Sharjah Emirate, where HLB could step in and gradually develop as one of the leading audit and consultancy firms in a period of 5 years.
Jay Krishnan heads the department of Indirect Taxation, which primarily covers VAT in UAE. He has provided expert guidance to approximately 300 plus clients on various VAT related issues.
Jay Krishnan is also in charge of business consultancy division of HLB HAMT, which comprise of company formation, license amendments, ownership re-structuring, entry strategy advise, liquidation etc. Under his leadership, approximately 700 companies were established in UAE.
Girish Nair
Girish Nair is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Mr. Girish is leading the HLB HAMT TAX Division as the Assistant Manager – TAX. Girish is experienced in the field of Internal Audit and Tax compliances in UAE. He has an overall experience of 10+ years, of which UAE experience accounts for 6+ years.
Girish has been involved on various assignments for VAT implementation, Tax advisory, Diagnostic reviews, Compliance health checks, Return reviews. Has assisted in setting up internal process controls to mitigate risks involved in activities / processes undertaken by companies. He worked with The Kanoo Group as Internal Auditor and handled independent audits for Commercial, Shipping and Joint Venture businesses.
