Iman Issa, Managing Diretor MENA at Hill+Knowlton Strategies
Iman joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies in April 2006. A passionate member of the team, she provides clients with strong strategic counsel, creative thinking and regional account management to drive impactful and measurable results across the MENA region. Able to lead product launches and manage brand campaigns, she also provides clients with media training, messaging and crisis management support.
With a focus on corporate and brand, Iman also has a deep understanding of corporate communications having worked across multiple sectors including, industry, real estate, hospitality, travel and fashion.
Iman currently advises on a board range corporate and brand clients including: Arla, Coca-Cola, INJAZ Al-Arab, Dubai World Trade Centre and Yahsat. Her hospitality and tourism experience includes; Marriott International including support on the acquisition of Protea IHG, JW Marriott Marquis Dubai, Qantas, and Dubai International Fashion Week.
Iman has won a number of awards including: 2016 – MEPRA: Best CSR Campaign – INJAZ Al-Arab ‘Expand Your Horizon,’ 2015 – MEPRA: Best Business-Business and Business Corporate Reputation for Uber ‘Uber on DXB – A vision for Smart Cities. Campaign was also short listed for an EMEA Sabre award for Issues Management. 2014 MEPRA awards; Best Use of Media Relations for the launch of the BMW i8; Best Use of CSR – BMW Stay Alert. Stay Alive.
Iman has lived in Dubai for over 20 years and is passionate about community engagement, team mentorship and Arab youth development. As the regional lead on INJAZ Al-Arab, she helps creates campaigns that encourage youth to seek out entrepreneurial and work readiness skills.
Iman holds an upper second BA Hons in Communication & Law from the University of Leeds.
