Stress can manifest in different ways and how we respond to it is unique to each one of us. A little bit of stress is good for people to perform and protect themselves but too much stress can overwhelm leading to a fight, flight, or freeze response. So, learning how to cope with stress is important for our mental and physical well-being.

The topic will cover the following agenda:

✓Learn how to recognize and identify stress
✓Understand and become aware of your own personal stress indicators and your individual stressors/triggers
✓Explore the link between anxiety and negative thinking
✓Learn how to minimize and challenge your negative self-talk using cognitive-behavioral tools and techniques
✓Learn how to use mindfulness practice to gain awareness and de-stress

The Duration of this talk is one hour including 10 minutes of Q&A session which will be conducted towards the end of the session.
