Mimi Nicklin, bestselling author of Softening The Edge, and organisational empathy consultant, will be sharing how deeper connectivity and understanding, of ourselves and those around us, is the key to thriving as teams and individuals in a post-pandemic world.
Workshop details
In this session, she will be sharing on:
-What empathy is, and why we have an Empathy Deficit globally?
-Why this matters to us as individuals, colleagues and citizens.
-She will look at the data surrounding organisational empathy and how it impacts our “soul as well as our role”
(as quoted in her book).
-She will define and unpack self empathy as a tool for deeper relationships, wellness and emotional health and the connection between understanding of self for pro social success.
-She will create a case for why balancing humanism and capitalism is key in our industry.

Mimi Nicklin is an author and the host of the popular Empathy for Breakfast show and Secrets of the Gap podcast.
She is an experienced marketer and creative strategist, and is a well- known empathetic leader. For over fifteen years she has been working across the globe with her clients to drive stand out strategic interventions that lead to business and culture change. She is also a keynote speaker, columnist and a yoga therapist.
