The Opportunity

Performance Communications’ Dubai office has a position available for a dynamic and experience communications professional, looking for an exciting opportunity with a boutique international agency. The successful candidate will manage several of the company’s key accounts, interacting directly with clients at a high corporate level. Moreover they will be closely involved with the senior management team supporting with running the wider business. A strategic thinker with experience presenting in pitches they must be fluent in spoken and written English, and demonstrate the ability to operate to the highest global standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct account management for key client accounts and major projects, including the development and implementation of strategic client communications plans
• Assist in preparing and delivering new business pitches and presentations, while also proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Support company management with strategic planning sessions and process improvements
• Leverage emerging AI and digital tools to enhance PR strategy, measurement, and content production
• Devise innovative ways to drive positive coverage across all channels
• Organise and run client events and campaigns
• Produce speeches and client presentations, either in person or via their team, while conducting final quality checks of all client-facing materials
• Advise clients on stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, and reputational risk
• Manage team members to ensure the highest quality client support, guiding, mentoring, and appraising reporting staff
• Identify opportunities to upsell to clients wherever possible
• Recruit team members and support their professional development
• Promote the company in regional media and through digital channels

Requirements

  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in PR/communications, ideally with some exposure to automotive or sport clients
  • Proven ability to manage clients and teams across pan-regional environments
  • Experience with major blue-chip organisations across multiple markets
  • Strong understanding of Middle East media landscape; knowledge of African markets is a bonus
  • Strategic thinker, creative planner, with strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Results-driven, tenacious, culturally sensitive, and adaptable
  • UAE driving licence and ability to travel across the Middle East as required
