The Opportunity

We are looking for someone who can balance being part of an account team with an ability to work independently. Someone who is developing a strong grasp of corporate communications, understands thought leadership and the fundamentals of content marketing to help build and manage brand reputation. We want someone who can think creatively and appreciates the impact of insight. And we need someone who is organised and able to balance the priorities of their clients with the ambition of the agency.

Responsibilities

Overall, the work will involve high levels of research, implementing tactical and integrated communication plans in response to client briefs; working with media, influencers, partner agencies and event managers to give our clients the recognition they deserve. And in terms of account management, keeping up with reporting, media monitoring, measurement and client administration.

  • Liaising with regional and international media in the context of corporate, government and thought leadership – both traditional and digital – to secure earned-first brand awareness for clients
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and pitches to secure positive media coverage
  • Write and edit a variety of content, including press releases, articles, speeches, Q&A documents, newsletters, social media posts, and briefing materials, ensuring all content aligns with client messaging and brand tone of voice
  • Supporting on the management of social media campaigns and producing a cadence of written content and collaborating with our studio on social design and video. Includes creating content calendars and reporting on social media performance
  • Executing on the communications plans to support event and exhibition management
  • Researching and reporting on industry issues, trends and opportunities respective to our client portfolio
  • Project management and tracking of client deliverables – Includes managing timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within scope
  • Management of the account reporting process, including measurement and evaluation
  • Responsive client communication and consultancy
  • Additional responsibilities to contribute to the agency’s operational effectiveness, its marketing and business development
