The Opportunity
Hanover is looking for Account Executives to be based in Dubai. Qualities that will help in these roles include curiosity, intellectual rigour, attention to detail, positive energy, level-headedness, kindness, team-orientation and a sense of humour. We have regional clients, so there will be Sunday working on occasion. You will likely have some prior work experience in a public relations agency. We are looking for executives with fluent English as well as bilingual Arabic-English.
An Account Executive provides high-quality monitoring and research services to Hanover’s existing clients, together with research and administrative support on new business activities. Account Executives are also responsible for supporting media and marketing events and providing administrative support for meetings with clients and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and relevant media monitoring to existing clients, keeping up-to-date press cutting files and compiling press cuttings booklets
- Identify target journalists for specific news stories and events
- Draft high-quality press releases and media materials that require only limited amendment by Senior Consultants
- Successfully sell in news stories to print and broadcast journalists, as well as digital channels
- Organise logistics (e.g. room bookings, invitations, speaker briefing notes and catering) for events including press conferences, media and stakeholder events
- Conduct value-add research and produce draft intelligence reports for existing clients and sector specific new business meetings, as required
- Draft client meeting agendas and effective action notes from internal account meetings and new business meetings, together with efficient maintenance of new business databases
- Draft presentation materials for new business credentials and pitches, contributing towards new business pitches
- Contribute towards marketing activity to promote Hanover

- Take the time to understand what other teams in the business do (including in other markets)
Financial Management:
- Develop understanding of company budget setting, management processes and Hanover financial and marketing systems including Maconomy and Salesforce
