The Opportunity

As the PR & Comms Manager for Seera Group, you will develop and implement plans and distribute content to promote our corporate brand, CSR and other activities, as well as our business unit’s activities across social media and other communications channels, including but not limited to our corporate website and media channels. You will act as a liaison between the C-suite of the organization and the general public (across comms platforms) to ensure that the brand remains top of mind. Internal comms planning will be core to your daily work, including the content management of our internal employee engagement tool.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement an effective internal and external communications strategy based on our target audience
  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including social media posts, publications, press releases, website content, and other marketing material that communicates the organization’s activities, products and/or services
  • Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required
  • Develop, support and promote company goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach
  • Identify target audiences and create strategies to effectively engage them
  • Ensure content aligns with our brand’s identity and message, and assist with marketing campaigns as needed
  • Work closely with leaders and executives to develop and strengthen employee engagement activities via internal comms channels
  • Agency management – Collaborate with agency of record for external communications planning and execution
  • Team management – develop and train junior team members on comms
  • Trade Show & media event management and organisation

Requirements

  • Degree (Mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, PR, or media
  • No of years of experience (Mandatory)
  • min (5) Five years’ experience in public relations, either in-house or in an agency, is a minimum. A track record of developing and delivering communication strategies is desirable, as is experience of working closely with journalists and responding to media requests
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Eng & Arabic a must
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, google docs, content management systems, and social media platforms
  • Experience in creating content for social media accounts
