Responsibilities
- Lead multiple client accounts, relationships, and teams. This is a client-facing leadership role
- Direct client activities in a timely, efficient, and high-quality manner with little to no oversight
- Provide strategic direction to teams on accounts, briefing, and managing workflow as necessary.
- Strategic understanding of the value of analytics in campaign development and success, including knowledge of relevant tools and applications.
- Ability to direct media and public affairs initiatives, including outreach to media, analyzing policy matters, developing briefings on a wide range of issues, offering government affairs strategies, engaging with stakeholders in multiple sectors, and overseeing social media content and strategy.
- Provide strategic recommendations to clients proactively based on a strong understanding of their objectives and needs
- Direct crisis-communication strategies.
- Provide high-level input to the narrative creation process and messaging workshops, shaping discussions to meet client objectives.
- Excellent relationship with clients, anticipating how they will respond to different situations and ability to identify opportunities to refine, improve, and upsell services.
- Leadership position, providing feedback and support to junior team members and sitting on the leadership team of the wider office.
- Line management responsibilities for team members.
- Provide strategic direction on new business, leading and coaching juniors and attending pitches as required; identifying and securing new business opportunities regularly.
- Liaise with clients and ensure satisfaction with the company’s services.
- Provide client team support, run internal meetings to gain an understanding of key issues, and provide feedback to account teams on a regular basis.
- Seek out and set up networking opportunities, out-of-hours if required on a monthly basis.
- Actively network with contacts, journalists, and key stakeholder
To successfully apply on this role you will:
- Responsible for driving the growth of the business by staying on the pulse of client, people,and business needs, including the development of new offerings.
- Leadership of multiple account teams and within the wider office.
- Senior client-facing role.
- Provide overall direction to the account team and wider business and manage challenging situations.
- Lead on crisis-communication strategies
- Consult across messaging, narrative, and strategic communications development for clients, including coaching and training of internal teams to upskill as needed.
- Provide strategic direction on new business, leading and coaching juniors and attending new business pitches; identifying and securing new business opportunities
- Generate external visibility for the business through thought leadership.Able to delegate tasks, provide feedback to juniors, and oversee the smooth running of accounts.
- Confident in handling client requests and providing recommendations.
- Able to lead messaging, narrative, and strategic communications development for clients.
- Able to run new business proposals, and lead pitch teams.

Requirements
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to handle simultaneous tasks with composure and accuracy while prospering in a dynamic & and fast-paced environment.
- Strong team leader who naturally possesses selfless, amicable, and supportive personal characteristics.
- Excellent knowledge of sector composition, trends, and current affairs.
- Excellent understanding of wider political, legislative, commercial, and competitive content and its application to the sector. Strong understanding of how to use this to inform advice to clients.
- Willingness to share expert knowledge with colleagues at all levels.
