We’re looking for a dynamic Account Executive who is has at least 1 years PR experience in the region to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in media relations and good contacts to key media in the GCC region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the PR manager(s) in the day-to-day servicing of clients, providing them with appropriate and timely support
• Contribute in the development of PR plans and programs
• Ensures that all elements of client programmes are completed on time and to the highest possible standards
• Attend new business presentations
• Identifies new media opportunities and proposes media angles, including coordination of interviews with spokespersons
• Writing and editing press releases and editorials
• Distribute press releases to media and follow-up calls to ensure coverage
• Supervises media monitoring and manages the relation with the media monitoring agency
• Update the media lists on a regular basis
• Establish and maintain necessary media and third party supplier contacts to ensure client programmes can be executed professionally
• Keep up-to-date with the local PR industry to target potential new clients to be pursued with the Managing Director
• Attend client meetings and take routine client briefs for forthcoming PR activity
• Produce activity status reports, time sheets, monthly reports of current and other accounts accurately and on time
• Carry out administrative assignments from time to time as appropriate

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
• Understanding of client and media relations, of PR planning, as well as program development.
• Experience in media relations and PR program execution
• Freedom to travel when required (Locally & abroad)
• Ability to simultaneously service multiple clients, and to prioritize
• Attention to detail and dedication to quality
• Full professional proficiency in English. Arabic preferable. Any other languages would be an advantage.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, in particular solid experience in writing press releases.
• Proven track record of handling media relations in the GCC region
• Superior organizational skills
• Outgoing and positive personality
• Quick thinker, problem solver, creative mind
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in public relations, preferably with a strategy-driven approach
• Previous Agency Experience would be advantageous
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong English verbal and written/editing communication skills. Arabic preferable. Any other languages would be an advantage.
