Anshuman Bhattacharya, Associate Creative Director at Red Havas
Anshuman has been an integrated copy-based creative for tet last 12 years. Having worked in key emerging markets such as South Asia, Middle East and North Africa, he brings an astute set of expertise to every piece of work. His experience spans across categories such as FMCG, Banking, Automobile, Telco, Retail and Entertainment. Including global brands like adidas, Kellogg’s, Ariel, LEGO, Kiri, Airtel, Bose, 20th Century Fox and many more. He has been awarded at several international festivals such as Dubai Lynx, Clio Awards, Ad Stars and One Show among others.
As an Associate Creative Director, he is always in pursuit of pushing the envelope with every project to a level that leaves a lasting impact. The recent Liquid Billboard by adidas being one of them.
His passion for creativity extends beyond the workplace as the bass player for one of the Middle East’s biggest metal bands – POV.
Salma Malaeb, Senior Communications Executive at Red Havas
Salma Malaeb has been working in the realm of PR and Sports Marketing in the Middle East and Europe rapidly expanding sporting industry for over 5 years.
Salma started off her career at Edelman, Abu Dhabi, where she helped manage sports accounts including Manchester City Football Club and Zayed Sports City. She then moved to Madrid where she joined Real Madrid C.F. digital marketing team as a community manager. She was responsible for developing and sharing content across social media feeds of the club, working closely with sponsors including Emirates and adidas. In 2018, she joined Katapult Sports, a sports marketing and video gaming agency, also based in Madrid, Spain, where she was responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies and activations mostly related to FIFA, on behalf of managed elite sports clientele including LaLiga and EA Sports Spain.
Today, Salma is part of the communications and PR team working on the adidas account at Red Havas across the GCC region, with a main focus on the performance and football categories of the brand. She plays an integral role in strategically engaging with a regional audience in a meaningful way through the ideation and execution of impactful and award-winning campaigns.
Away from work, Salma writes her own football blog on Instagram (@talkfootball__) and TikTok (@salmamalaeb) with 185,000 followers across both platforms. She holds an MBA in Sports Management from Universidad Europea Madrid, and an MSc in Business and Strategic Management from ESERP Business School Madrid.
