Kelly specialises in advising clients in complex and highly-regulated industries globally on strategic communications, public affairs, and research challenges and issues. A founder of Sandpiper’s award-winning Research & Insights division she is a long-time proponent of insights-driven reputation management practices and has spearheaded the company’s global industry research in this area over the past five years. On a daily basis she partners global corporate affairs teams on insights-led communications and public affairs programmes across the energy, financial, healthcare, professional services, and technology sectors.

Alex Thomas, Sandpiper Research & Insights

Alex has 10 years’ experience as a research manager and analyst, with deep expertise in social media, quantitative insights, and data analytics. Fluent in Arabic, he has an in‑depth knowledge of and experience working across the Middle East. His work spans opinion polling, sentiment mapping, and market research across the region and worldwide. Prior to Sandpiper, Alex led market entry and reputational risk intelligence projects across Asia, the Middle East and Europe for risk intelligence firms, and consulted on sentiment analysis, stakeholder mapping, and public awareness campaigns. His sector experience spans energy, financial services, government and technology.
