The Opportunity

Oversee and monitor company’s data systems to guarantee their security, protection and proper arrangement by organizing, storing and analyzing the data efficiently and with strict
attention to security and confidentiality

Responsibilities

DATA

• Create and enforce policies for effective data management
• Maintain a tracker, log and a copy of all footage movement
• Formulate efficient and secure procedures for quality data collection, handling and analysis to ensure adequacy and accuracy of data with utmost attention to technical details
• Prepare policies and procedures for data sharing with different parties including but not limited to editors, clients, and external stakeholders
• Prepare reports with data extraction when needed and monitor and analyze the information and systems to evaluate their performance for continuous enhancements
• Ensure digital databases and archives are protected from security breaches and data losses
• Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications
• Handle all workflow, systemization in post-production responsible for all the raw footage captured on shoots and to keep an inventory of all camera equipment
• Team to report to DIS handing all previous and current footage from both video departments once a shoot is complete
• Archive all data into organized and labelled folders, giving a clear structure so its easy to
• navigate and find archived footage if required
• Liaise with finance department raising any order requests such as additional backup drives if required
• Store all backup drives and external in a clean and safe area, by labelling and inputting into an online system, as a tracker for the drives

KIT

• Design and implement an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures
• Ensure equipment room in a clean and organized manner
• Produce a check in, check out system for all equipment, by logging all items of equipment in a clear and concise list with their serial numbers
• Follow up on any missing equipment, or unreturned items to be returned as soon as possible
• Handle any maintenance and repair requirements for any equipment; diagnosing the issue
• calling the necessary stores, booking a service appointment, making sure its returned to you directly once serviced / repaired
• Examine the levels of supplies and material to determine any gaps
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
• Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by direct manager

Technical Competencies/Skills

• Excellent command of English (Arabic preferred)
• Good understanding of digital cameras, computers, file formats, Excellent in Microsoft office especially Excel, and storage media.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in mass communication, Business Management, Advertising and Marketing, or any other related filed

Experience

3-4 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
