The Opportunity

Our team is growing and our immediate need is for a social media community manager.

Responsibilities

Core

  • Oversee clients’ social media platforms from ideation to content creation, implementation, management, and reporting.
  • Develop compelling multi-platform content strategy aligned with client programs and priorities and designed to accomplish wider objectives
  • Develop monthly content road maps based on pre-approved content themes and pillars
  • Work cross-functionally with the communications team and client stakeholders
  • Provide on the ground support and content capture at different client events

Operational

  • Development and ownership of the social media calendar that captures all communications activities as well as other social-led activities
  • Conceive, create, and execute social media campaigns to deliver increased engagement
  • Ability to re-purpose social media content for different social media platforms based on deep understanding how content is consumed differently on each channel
  • Ideation on quick wins and reactive content creation
  • Moderation, monitoring, and community management
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors (such as filming suppliers) in relation to social media content

Knowledge & Skills

  • 2-3 years’ experience with social media platforms management
  • Deep understanding of the UAE social media scene, culture, and trends
  • Strong understanding of social media measurement and insights as well as overall digital analytics
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Creative thinker who can be both innovative and detail-oriented
  • Able to work seamlessly and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong oral (speaking, listening, interpretation) and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent team player and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read / write / speak Arabic is advantageous
