Arabic-English Senior Account Executive / PR Manager at Sherpa Communications

The Company

Sherpa Communications, a B2B-focused PR consultancy, continues to grow and evolve. We are now on the lookout for a dynamic bilingual (Arabic & English) Senior Account Executive
or PR Manager to join our team in Dubai. Please note that we are looking for a confident specialist who can perform from day one. We are eager to welcome PR specialists with agency experience within the UAE or
journalists with B2B experience considering a shift to PR.

Responsibilities

• Strategic support in account management, handling multiple accounts (mentorship/guidance on best practice to be provided)
• Leverage your network of media contacts to secure quality coverage for clients across different industries and markets (UAE/KSA/Egypt/Jordan/other – Arabic & English)
• Also, to be able to quickly establish new media contacts (Arabic & English if needed)
• Develop communication strategies and suggest ideas for clients, with the ability to see the ‘big picture’ and bring value
• Develop and execute monthly communication plans that align with client objectives
• Conduct research and identify high-quality opportunities for client engagement
• Evaluate potential partnerships or sponsorships to enhance client visibility and reach
• Offer business consulting and advisory services to clients, ensuring effective campaign execution
• Apply an analytical approach to measure and report on PR campaign outcomes
• Stay abreast of industry updates to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities (to be aware of latest news & announcements in the country, to be able to see an opportunity in it)
• Draft professional content including press releases, interview pitches, articles, expert comments, or case studies (with a focus on B2B communications) or B2C lifestyle editorials
• Manage social media content creation, suggest design and ideas if required
• Orchestrate influencer marketing campaigns for both B2B and B2C segments when required
• Showcase digital knowledge by running digital and social media campaigns for clients

Requirements

• Proficiency in Arabic
• With strong media contacts in the UAE and region (Arabic & English)
•  3+ years of PR/media/journalism experience
•  Able to start performing from day one (deliver coverage with top media, business consulting, ideas generation, other)
• With PR agency background (UAE market preferred)
• With experience working with B2B clients
• With proactive, go-getter attitude and solution-driven mindset who will chase opportunities and suggest ideas
• With experience in account management, including client-facing roles, team management, and project planning and execution
• Able to work effectively in a team/collaborative environment
• English copywriting skills is a big plus
• Experience in digital marketing and social media management is a big plus
• Easy adoption of software tools to automate and streamline tasks is a big plus
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude and a "Let’s do it" approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must
• Ability to multitask, work under tight deadlines, and deliver quality results aligned with business objectives
