SENIOR FREELANCE CONSULTANT, REPUTATION – ABU DHABI (3-5 MONTHS) at Edelman

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Senior Consultant to support Edelman Middle East’s Reputation team on a high level Abu Dhabi Government led project. This is a full-time position required for 3-5 months based out of our Abu Dhabi office. He or she must have solid experience managing large, high-pressure projects leading to quality of service, especially within the UAE (preferably Abu Dhabi) Government field – handling senior stakeholders and liaising with other partners and local figureheads from organizations.

Requirements

• Quality (English) written and verbal communication skills. Bi-lingual competency is an added benefit
• Written content – includes strategic planning files, media copy (press releases, op-eds and briefs), web-copy and other long-form materials (e.g. corporate narratives, speeches and briefing sheets)
• Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate the work of others
• Lead meetings and present updates to various stakeholders
• Ability to be agile and adapt to various deliverables needed – managing team members directly and support where needed
• Familiar with best-practice communications tactics and tools and will be able to appropriately apply critical on-the job thinking and lead the execution of all related projects in-house
• Have the ability to act as a daily client / project contact
• Manage and inspire a large team and to make sound judgments on a daily basis, knowing when to seek senior counsel
• Must have the necessary visa to live and work in the UAE
