We live in an attention economy where every platform, algorithm and creator is competing for our time. As audiences consume more content than ever before, attention spans are shrinking, misinformation is spreading faster, and younger generations are growing up in digital environments that profoundly shape their beliefs, behaviours and wellbeing.

This session explores why media literacy is no longer just a consumer skill but a marketing responsibility. It challenges marketers to think beyond clicks, views and engagement, asking how the content we create influences attention, trust, critical thinking and society at large.
