The Opportunity

Sherpa Communications, a B2B focused PR agency is expanding and looking for a passionate PR Executive to join their Dubai team and  support with the management of the agency’s accounts. We are looking for a confident PR specialist with agency experience in the UAE or a journalist with B2B experience willing to explore a PR role to blend easily and work on exciting campaigns. We can offer you a unique experience, mentorship and support system for your professional growth but you need to care and be passionate about what you’ll do.

Responsibilities

  • Support with account management (focus on B2B); ability to manage some accounts under minimal guidance if needed
  • Content creation like press releases, interview pitches, articles, blog posts
  • Effective media relations resulting in new opportunities for clients (UAE & regional media)
  • Research and identification of quality opportunities for clients
  • Communication with clients, media, and influencers if needed
  • Evaluation of opportunities for partnerships or sponsorships to share recommendations with clients
  • Measure and provide reports on each PR campaign
  • Monitoring of industry news and reporting to clients
  • Social media management if needed (content management, design ideas etc.)
  • Influencer marketing, management of campaigns
  • Cultivate new contacts within business, national and industry media

Requirements

  • Strong copywriting skills are essential
  • Experience in B2B comms (agency side is preferred)
  • Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Willingness to work on B2B projects
  • Experience in account management (client-facing roles in the past, team management, experience in planning & execution of projects)
  • Switched on attitude / ‘Let’s do it’ person who can work fast
  • Process-oriented, with a structured approach to work
  • Experience in management of social media accounts + active user (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Analytical and research skills to generate quality results
  • Advanced user – Microsoft office (ppt, word, and excel) to deliver stellar reports; graphic design is a plus
  • Ability to multitask/ Capable to work under tight deadlines / Capable to deliver a quality outcome
  • A positive and proactive attitude, resourcefulness in solving problems, a person who cares
  • Immediate start for the right candidate
  • Remote work is potentially possible
