The International School of Communication (ISOC) is a private institution of higher learning specialising   in   PR   training,  media  training,  presentation  training  and  communication  skills. ISOC operates training centres in London and Dubai and also delivers in-house training for clients in more than 75 countries. We have been delivering specialist courses on communication skills since 2003.

The Opportunity

The International School of Communication (ISOC) is recruiting a PR, marketing and events executive to help it fulfil its marketing and promotion activities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. As we are a small business, this is a diverse role that will involve marketing, PR, event organisation and social media engagement across ISOC’s offices in Dubai and London. Activities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing input for a PR and marketing plan
• Supporting the management to implement the company’s PR and marketing plan
• Working with management to create a social media calendar and keep social media accounts regularly updated (channels include LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)
• Helping the  management  plan  short  in-house  videos  to  be  filmed  before,  during  and  after training courses
• Organising promotional events for ISOC’s clients and potential clients
• Supporting the management on new business proposals and pitches
• There might be additional requirements to travel within the GCC, Africa and Asia

Requirements

• Savvy user of social media and social media content calendars
• Ability to use video editing software would be a plus
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Excellent marketing and PR skills
• Strong event organisation skills
• Creative, enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards work
• It is essential that the candidate is a fluent English and Arabic writer / speaker
