Presentation Designer at Kekst CNC

We are looking for a presentation designer who can help one of our largest global clients elevate their design output to the next level.

If you are looking for a new opportunity as a presentation designer for a growing and ambitious organization, then this role is for you. You will mainly work alongside the team in Dubai to directly support one of our anchor clients, designing presentations, reports and more. You will also create presentations for new business and pitches.

In this role, you are first and foremost a creative communicator who collaborates with partners to transform concepts into compelling presentations and collateral. Working with colleagues in our office in Dubai and beyond, there is an opportunity to raise the bar and influence the standards of our design output for clients as well as our own presentations and marketing collateral.

You would be joining the firm at an exciting stage as we are building up a small but strong global in-house creative services team. We are looking to hire presentation designers and designers in our main markets with the purpose of increasing and improving the quality of our creative output as well as developing processes to ensure an efficient operation. Given you would join the team from the start, you will be able to make a true and meaningful impact to the work we do. You will report into the Global Traffic Manager based in London.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and client stakeholders to bring their strategy to life in brilliant and visually rich presentations and collateral
• Effectively communicate complicated ideas in visually compelling and effective ways
• Design high-impact presentations in PowerPoint; rich in detail, animation, and other high-level design elements
• Design persuasive reports and marketing collateral in Adobe Creative Suite
• Go-to-person for all presentations and marketing material within the Dubai office. These will include outputs for an anchor client in the oil and gas sector, plus presentations for new business, pitches and internal company requirements
• Responsible for setting and raising the standards of all Kekst CNC internal and external presentations
• Actively own and maintain Kekst CNC presentation standards and templates and  advocate
• best practice presentation techniques across the firm
• Coach users to establish and maintain best practice across the office and group
• Keep up to date on software, technical knowledge and design trends
• Manage and execute multiple projects at once, efficiently meeting deadlines
• Ensure all output is on brand and communicated clearly
• Keen eye for detail and consistency that extends to language and proof reading

Requirements

• Several years of presentation design experience (agency or consultancy experience is preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint
• Solid foundation in design fundamentals, layout, colour theory, grids and typography
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of MS Word an advantage
• Proficient in creating master pages, templates and style sheets in line with clients’ andKekst CNC’s brand guidelines
• An understanding of animation and how to incorporate it into presentations
• Proficiency in video editing is a plus
• Portfolio that shows off excellent presentation and layout work
• Fluency of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not essential
• Being able to distil complex information into simple narratives and high-impact layouts
• Ability to interpret and action clients’ design feedback
• Excellent attention to detail
• Client-centric mentality, can-do attitude
• Self-starter who is also able to work effectively as part of a global team
• Ability to think on your feet, work in an agile manner and adjust to changes
• Flexibility and able to work to tight deadlines when required
